Ganesh Lakshmi Pujan

This Ganesh-Lakshmi pujan is specially done during the Ganesh Lakshmi Puja that takes place on the occasion of Diwali festival. Besides this, it is also done during the Ganesh Lakshmi Puja that takes place in business establishments.

Shree Ganesh-Mahalakshmi worship method

Attention –

Now take a flower in your hand and meditate on Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi while chanting the following mantra –

Gajanana is worshiped by hosts of ghosts and others and eats beautiful fruits like kapitha and jambu.
I bow down to the lotus feet of Lord Vighneśvara, the son of Lord Umā, who destroys all sorrow.
She who is seated on the lotus seat, with a broad waist, eyes as large as lotus petals, and a deep rotating navel, filling her breasts, is dressed in a white robe.
May that lotus-handled goddess of fortune whose divine forms are bathed in golden waterpots encrusted with clusters of gems always dwell in my house endowed with all auspiciousness
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer flowers for meditation.

After meditating, offer the flowers held in your hand to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.

Appeal –

Again take flowers in your hand and offer flowers while reciting the following mantra to invoke Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha.)

O Heramba, son of Lord Maheśa, please come here, capable of destroying all the floods of obstacles. O Lord, first and foremost of auspicious worship, accept my worship, I offer my obeisances to You.
ॐ The golden-coloured deer is adorned with gold and silver stripes. O Jataveda, please bring me the golden moon and the goddess of fortune.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer flowers for invocation.

Prestige –

Touch Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi, shower rice grains on them and consecrate them by reciting the following mantra.

ॐ May the mind and the sacrificial fire be offered to you, and may Brihaspati offer this sacrifice to you.
Vishvedeva sa ‘iha madayantamo pratishtha.
ॐ Bhurbhuvah Svah May Ganesha and Lakshmi be well-established and bestower of boons.

Posture –

Offer flowers to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi while chanting the following mantra for the seat:

It was as bright as burnt gold and adorned with pearls and gems. Please accept this immaculate lotus divine seat
ॐ Take me, O Jataveda, the goddess of fortune, who never fails. In that woman I shall find gold, cows, horses and men.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer flowers for the seat.

Foot-

For Paadya, leave one aachmani water near the feet of Lord Ganesha and Mother Lakshmi.

It is filled with fragrant flowers and other holy places like the Ganges. O Lord, I offer you water for washing feet. Please accept it immediately. I offer my obeisances unto You.
ॐ The horse-before-the-chariot-bearer, the elephant-roar-delighting. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the goddess of fortune.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer a footstool to the feet.

Arghya –

While reciting the following mantra, take water, fragrance, whole rice grains, flowers and fruits in a pure vessel and offer arghya to the deity.

I have accomplished the meaning with fragrant flowers and incense.
Please accept the arghya I offer you and be pleased with me and bestow boons upon you.
ॐ Who is so smiling, golden-walled, wet, burning, satisfied, satisfied?
I offer my respectful obeisances unto that lotus-coloured goddess of fortune who is seated at His feet.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer arghya to both hands.

Achman –

For achamana, pour two aachmani water in front of the face of Gauri Ganesh ji while reciting the following mantra.

It is fragrant with camphor and is delicious and cool.
O Lord, please accept this water for washing.
ॐ The moon, the radiant, shining with fame, the goddess of fortune in this world, the generous worshipper.
I take shelter of that lotus-like lady, O goddess of fortune, and I pray that she may be destroyed.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer water for ablution.

Bathing –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of water to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing:

The auspicious waters of the river Mandakini destroy all sins
O Lord, this is what I have arranged for you to take your bath. Please accept it.
ॐ The bilva tree, which was born of austerities in the color of the sun, is your tree.
May the fruits of his austerities, whether internal or external, be reaped by him.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer a bath.

Milk bath –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one cup of milk to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing.

The supreme life of all is born of the cow of desire
The holy milk offered for bathing is the cause of the sacrifice
ॐ Milk in the earth, milk in the herbs, milk in the heavenly sky, milk in the food.
May the directions of the river Payasvatī be my greatness.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer a milk bath. I offer a bath of pure water at the end of the milk bath.

Dadhisnana –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of curd to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing:

The milk produced was sweet and sour and shining like the moon
O Lord, I have brought you some milk for your bath. Please accept it.
ॐ Dadhikravno akarisham jiṣṇoraśvasya vajiṇaḥ surabhi no mukha karatpraṇa āyuṣi tariṣat.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer a yogurt bath. I offer a bath of pure water at the end of the yogurt bath.

Ghritasnana –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of ghee to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing:

It is freshly produced and satisfies everyone
I shall offer you some ghee for your bath. Please accept it.
ॐ Drink ghee, drinking ghee, drink fat, drinking fat, in the oblation of the sky. Directions, directions, directions, directions, directions, directions, directions, swaha.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer a butter bath. I offer a bath of pure water at the end of the ghee bath.

Honeymoon –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani to Ganesha and Lakshmi for honey bath.

The honey is delicious and sweet, and it is produced by the flowers of the trees.
Please accept this divine bath which nourishes your effulgence
ॐ The honey wind blows, and the seas pour honey. May the herbs be sweet to us. Honey at night is satisfying, and honey is the dust of the earth. May the honey heaven be our father. May the sun be the honey of our plants and the honey of our 2 honey. May the cows be sweet to us.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer a honey bath. At the end of the honey bath, I offer a bath of pure water.

Sugar bath –

While reciting the following mantra, leave one aachmani of sugar for Ganesha and Lakshmi ji for bathing-

Sugar extracts from sugarcane juice are nourishing.
Please accept this divine dirt remover for your bath.
ॐ Water is the taste of the age, and it is concentrated in the sun. I shall accept from you the best of all tastes, namely, water and taste. I have accepted you as the best of all tastes for Indra, and I will accept the best of your womb for Indra.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer a sugar bath, and at the end of the sugar bath I offer a pure water bath again.

Panchamritasnana –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of Panchamrit to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing-

Milk curd and ghee mixed with honey and sugar Please accept the five nectars I have brought for your bath.
ॐ The five rivers with their sources flow to the Saraswati. The fifth river, Sarasvatī, flowed into that region.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer the five nectar baths, and at the end of the five nectar baths I offer a bath of pure water.

If Bhagwati Mahalakshmi is to be anointed, then she should be bathed (abhishek) with pure water or milk while reciting ‘Shri Sukta’. Abhishek is done on a metal idol or Dravya Lakshmi so that the idol does not get eroded by the water stream. For abhishek, these should be placed in a separate vessel so that the worship can be completed in a proper manner and the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi can be obtained.

Gandhodaksnana –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of sandalwood mixed water to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing:

It is a source of sandalwood and agaru trees grown in the Malaya Mountains.
O Lord of the demigods, please accept sandalwood paste for my bath.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer a bath of scented water.

Give him a bath with water mixed with fragrance (sandalwood).

Pure water bath –

While reciting the following mantra, offer one aachmani of Ganga water or pure water to Ganesha and Lakshmi for bathing:

The auspicious gate of Mandakini destroys all sins
That’s what I’ve arranged for you to take your bath in. Please accept it.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer a bath in pure water.

After bathing, wipe the idol thoroughly and place it on the seat at its proper place.

Clothing –

Now offer clothes while chanting the following mantra or if there is lack of clothes, offer Rakshasutra-

Protection from cold, wind and heat is the ultimate protection from shame.
Please give me peace from my body ornaments and clothing.
ॐ May the friend of the gods and fame come to me with the gem.
I have now appeared in this kingdom. May you bestow upon me fame and prosperity.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer clothes and water for ablution.

Undergarments –

Offer one piece of cloth to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi while reciting the following mantra or offer a Raksha Sutra if there is a shortage of clothes-

Without which nothing can be accomplished as prescribed in the scriptures.
I’ll give you a sub-cloth that will help you in all your work.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer undergarments and water for ablution.

Jewellery –

Offer jewellery to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi while reciting the following mantra-

gems, bracelets, emeralds, pearl necklaces and so on.
Please accept what I have given you with a cheerful heart, my dear.
ॐ I destroy the eldest, the unfortunate, who is pure from hunger and thirst.
Please remove from my house all my misery and prosperity.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer various kinds of earrings and bracelets.

Smell –

While reciting the following mantra, offer sandalwood mixed with saffron and camphor to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi with your ring finger-

The fragrance is divine and excellent sandalwood mixed with camphor
O best of the demigods, please accept this ointment for your pleasure.
ॐ The door of fragrance, the unassailable, the ever-nourished curry.
I offer my respectful obeisances unto that goddess of fortune, who is the controller of all living entities.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer the fragrance.

Red sandalwood –

Offer red sandalwood to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi again with the ring finger while reciting the following mantra-

The Śrīkhanda sandalwood is divine, rich in fragrance and very pleasant.
O best of the demigods, please accept this ointment and sandalwood paste.
It is made of parijata tree mixed with red sandalwood paste.
O great lady of fortune please accept the sandalwood paste I have given you
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer red sandalwood.

Sindoor –

Offer vermilion to Lord Ganesha and Mata Lakshmi while reciting the following mantra-

Sindur is beautiful red and auspicious and enhances happiness.
Please accept the auspicious and lustful sindur.
ॐ The Yahvas, with their pure noses, fall like the sea in the east.
The stream of ghee is not hot, nor is the horse breaking through the wood, and the waves are drinking it.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer sindur.

Kumkum –

Offer kumkum while reciting the following mantra-

Kuṅkuma is the divine saffron that gives desire and assumes the form of desire.
Please accept this saffron flower, which gives you unbroken desires and good fortune.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer saffron.

Pushpasara (other) –

Offer fragrant oil and perfume while reciting the following mantra:

It was wonderfully pure and full of divine fragrance
Please accept this fragrant substance, which I have offered you with devotion.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer fragrant oil and flower essence.

Akshat –

While reciting the following mantra, offer rice grains mixed with kumkum-

They were also decorated with unbroken grains and the best of saffron.
O Supreme Lord, please accept this offering I have made with devotion.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer the Akshata.

Flowers and wreaths –

Now offer flowers and garland while chanting the following mantra and if possible offer red lotus flowers or else adorn the Goddess with red flowers-

O lord garlands and other fragrant flowers are like jasmine
Please accept these Pushyas I have brought for your worship.
ॐ We eat the desire of the mind, the form, the truth of the word.
May the form of animals, food, opulence and fame rest in Me.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer flowers and a garland of flowers.

Durva –

Offer Durva to Lord Ganesha while chanting the following mantra-

They also brought durva flowers, good green nectar and auspicious fruits.
O Lord of the Ganas, please accept these offerings brought to You for worship.
ॐ गणपतये नमः । I offer the Durvankaras.

Organ worship-

Perform the worship of Goddess Mahalakshmi’s body by reciting the name-mantra one by one with roli, kumkum mixed rice and flowers-

ॐ Chapalayai Namah, I worship the feet.
ॐ Chanchalaai Namah, I worship the knees.
ॐ Kamalayai Namah, I worship the waist.
ॐ Katyayanyai Namah, I worship the navel.
ॐ Jagannathaye Namah, I worship the abdomen.
ॐ Visvavallabhaai Namah, I worship the chest.
ॐ Kamalavasini Namah, I worship the hands.
ॐ Padmananayai Namah, I worship the face.
ॐ Kamalapatrakshayai Namah, I worship the three eyes.
OM SHRI OM, I offer my obeisances to the head.
ॐ Mahalakshmyai Namah, I worship all the limbs.

Ashtasiddhi-worship

After the Anga Puja, starting from the east, worship all the eight Siddhis with rice grains mixed with Kumkum while reciting the following Siddhis in each of the eight directions –

1-Om Animne Namah (east), 2-Om Mahimne Namah (fire corner), 3-Om Garimpo Namah (south), 4-Om Laghimne Namah (southwest), 5-Om Prapti Namah (west), 6-Om Prakamyai Namah (northwest), 7-Om Ishitai Namah (north) and 8-Om Vashitai Namah (northeast).

Ashtalakshmi-worship

After worshipping the eight Siddhis, starting from the east, worship the eight Lakshmis in all the eight directions with rice grains mixed with kumkum while reciting the name of Lakshmi Ji one by one.

1-Om Adyalakshmi Namah, 2-Om Vidyalakshmi Namah, 3-Om Saubhagyalakshmi Namah, 4-Om Amritalakshmi Namah, 5-Om Kamalakshmi Namah, 6-Om Satyalakshmi Namah, 7-Om Bhogalakshmi Namah 8-Om Yogalakshmi Namah.

Sunlight –

Offer incense while chanting the following mantra-

This incense is rich in fragrance and is derived from the taste of plants and is offered to all the demigods Please accept it.
O Kardama, the people became in me, O Kardama.
May the goddess of fortune, my mother, who is garlanded with lotuses, dwell in my family.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I smell the incense.

Lamp –

Offer the lamp while chanting the following mantra-

It’s a nice slice of butter mixed with working ingredients.
O Supreme Lord, please accept this lamp that destroys darkness.
OM May the waters create the oils and cleanse them and dwell in my house. Please place the goddess of fortune in my dynasty.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I show you the lamp.

Offering –

Offer naivedya while chanting the following mantra-

Sugar lump foods and curd milk and butter.
Receive food and offerings to be eaten and eaten.
ॐ Ardra Pushkariṇī Puṣṭiṁ Piṅgalam Padmamalīṇī.
O Jataveda, please bring me the golden moon and the goddess of fortune.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer the offering, offer water for washing at the end of the offering, water in the middle, water for washing hands for eating after drinking and water for washing face.

Tax Reversal –

ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah

Saying this, apply sandalwood on your hands for Karvadvartan.

Seasonal fruits –

Offer the seasonal fruits while reciting the following mantra.

The whole three worlds, moving and non-moving, are fruitful by fruit.
Therefore may your desires be fulfilled by bestowing rewards
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer the fruits of the unbroken seasons.

Tambul-Pugifal –

Now offer betel leaf along with betel nut, clove and cardamom while chanting the following mantra-

There was a large divine bean fruit with leaves of naga and creeper.
Receive betel nut mixed with elā powder and other ingredients.
ॐ He who holds a wet elephant, a stick, a golden stick and a garland of gold.
O Jataveda, please bring me the sun-god, the golden goddess of fortune.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer bean leaves and bean fruit mixed with elalavanga and others for the fragrance of the mouth.

Dakshina-

Offer Dakshina according to your faith while chanting the following mantra-

The golden seed of the fire is in the womb of the golden womb.
Please grant me peace, who bestows the fruits of infinite merit.
ॐ Tam ma aa vaha jatavedo lakshmi manapagaminim.
I shall find men in her who have abundant gold cows maidservants horses
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhyai Namah । I offer alms.

Neerajan –

Do Aarti, release water and wash your hands-

Camphor, which is produced from the womb of a banana, is lit.
I am performing ārārtika. Please look upon me and bestow upon me boons.
The eyes of all the worlds are the dispeller of darkness.
O Supreme Personality of Godhead, please accept this offering of Ārtikya with devotion.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer the Neerajanam.

Circumambulation –

Circumambulate three times while chanting the following mantra of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.

And whatever sins are committed in the next life.
May all of them be destroyed at every step of circumambulation.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer the pradakshina.

Floral tribute –

Take flowers in your hand, recite the mantra and offer the flowers.

Take flowers in your palms and recite this mantra
: Yah shuchih prayato bhutva juhuyadajyamanvaham.
One who desires prosperity should constantly chant the Sukta and the fifteen churches.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah I offer Pushyajali.

Prayer-

O Lord of all obstacles, bestower of boons, dear to the demigods, O long-abdomen, O well-wisher of the entire universe,
Obeisances unto You, whose face is like that of a serpent, and who are the son of Gaurī.
The lotus feet of that essence, always encrusted with pearls, crowns of gods, demons, kings and others.
I offer my respectful obeisances unto Him who fulfills all my desires with devotion.
You are the great Lakshmi bestower of all desires
May she be well worshiped and pleased with me, O great Lakshmi. I offer my obeisances unto you.
“O dear monkey bestower of boons to all the gods I offer my obeisances to you
May the destination of those who surrender to You be attained by worshiping You.
ॐ Lakshmi Ganapatibhya Namah. I offer my prayerful salutations.

After praying, bow to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.

Dedication –

At the end of the worship, complete all worship rituals while reciting the following mantra and pour water:

‘May Lakshmi Ganapati be pleased with this worship done, not mine.

After worshipping Ganeshji and Bhagwati Mahalakshmi with as many rituals as possible, the important parts are worshipped as part of Mahalakshmi Pujan. These parts include Shri Delhi Vinayak, Masipatra, Lekhnika, Devi Saraswati, Kubera, Tula-man and Deepak.

In the worship sequence, ‘Dehli Vinayak’ is worshipped first, because it is a symbol of beginning. Worshipping Delhi Vinayak brings auspiciousness in all the works and the blessings of Lord Ganesh, the destroyer of obstacles, due to which the worship is completed without any obstacles. While performing this worship, chant the mantras with special reverence and dedication, so that your worship is successful and you get the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi.

Delhi Vinayak Puja

On the walls of business establishments, auspicious and welfare symbols like ‘Om Shri Ganeshay Namah’, Swastika symbol, ‘Shubh-Labh’ etc., which are considered to be the symbol of auspiciousness and prosperity, are inscribed with vermilion etc. With these holy symbols, worship with devotion using incense, flowers, and other worship materials while chanting the name-mantra ‘Om Delhi Vinayakaya Namah’. This method not only invokes auspiciousness and prosperity in the establishment, but also ensures success and increase in prosperity in work with the grace of Vighnaharta Ganeshji.

Shrimahakali (Dawat)-worship

(These days, in the absence of inkpot, people worship Mahakali with pen only.)

Place the ink pot in front of Bhagwati Mahalakshmi amidst flowers and bunch of rice grains. After this, make a swastika symbol on the pot with vermilion and tie a sacred thread on it. While chanting the mantra ‘Om Shrimahakaliye Namah’ with devotion, worship Bhagwati Mahakali seated in the pot with fragrance, flowers etc. using Panchopchar or Shodashopachar method.

After the puja, bow down in prayer to Goddess Mahakali and ask her to bless you with strength, courage and victory in every task of life. In this holy moment of puja, meditate on Mahakali with full devotion and reverence, so that her grace and protection always remain upon you.

Kalike! You exist in the form of the mother of the universe.
You have emerged to perfect the transactions of the worlds.
That Kalika who destroys diseases is well worshiped by all devotees skilled in dealings.
May that mother of the universe, who dispels the fear of all men, bestow happiness upon me.

Pen-worship

Tie a mauli or Kalawa on the pen and keep it in front of you and recite the following mantra-

The pen was created in the past by the Supreme Brahman.
For the welfare of all the worlds, I therefore worship her.

Chanting the holy name mantra ‘Om Lekhnisthayai Devayai Namah’, worship the pen with fragrance, flowers, whole rice grains and other worship materials. After this, pray to the Goddess with devotion and dedication:

Because he attains the knowledge of the scriptures and practices.
Therefore I shall worship You. Please remain steady in My hands.

Saraswati-(registered ledger) worship

Calendar –

Mark the Swastika symbol on the ledger and Basna (accounting book) with roli or saffron-infused sandalwood. After this, worship Goddess Saraswati on that Swastika with devotion and dedication.

Meditate on Goddess Saraswati with the following prayer:

Attention-

She is white with necklaces of kunda and moon and snow and covered with white clothes
The goddess whose hands are adorned with the staff of a vīṇā and who sits on a white lotus
She is always worshiped by Brahmā, Acyuta, Śaṅkara and other demigods.
May that goddess Sarasvatī, who destroys all illusion, protect me.
‘Om Sri Saraswati Namah’

Kubera-worship

Decorate the safe or the chest in which you keep money with roli or saffron-infused sandalwood, swastika and other auspicious symbols. After this, with full devotion, recite the following mantra and invoke Lord Kubera, the lord of wealth.

I call upon you, O Lord, come here and have mercy on me.
O Lord of the demigods, increase my treasury and always protect it.

After the invocation, worship Lord Kubera with the proper rituals while chanting the holy name-mantra ‘Om Kuberaay Namah’. At the end of this worship, pray with devotion and reverence in the following manner:

O bestower of wealth and lord of the lotus of treasures I offer my obeisances unto thee.
By Your grace may wealth, grain and other opulences be obtained.

After praying in this manner, place the bag containing the pre-worshipped turmeric, coriander, lotus seed, liquid, and durva (which is considered the material form of Lakshmi) in the safe with devotion-

Libra and Honor and Worship

Make a swastika symbol on the scales and other materials with vermilion. After this, wrap the swastika with mauli and meditate on the deity of Libra in the following manner-

Obeisances unto You, who are the power of all the demigods, and who rely on truth.
She was the mother of the universe and was created by the mother of the universe as a witness.

After meditation, chant the holy name-mantra ‘Om Tuladhishthātrudevataye Namah’ and perform ritualistic worship using fragrance, whole rice grains, and other offerings.

Deepamalika (Lamp)-worship

Light eleven, twenty-one, or more lamps in a vessel and place them near Goddess Mahalakshmi. After this, chant the holy name-mantra ‘Om Deepavalyai Namah’ while performing Aarti of the lamp flame.

During this puja, include fragrance, flowers, and other offerings to receive the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi.

At the end of the puja, pray as follows:

You are the light, the sun, the moon, the lightning, the fire and the stars.
Obeisances to the goddess who is the source of all luminaries.

While worshipping the Deepamalaikas, offer various items like orange, sugarcane, water chestnut and kheel (rice flakes) with devotion as per your customs.

After this, offer the puffed rice to Lord Ganesha, Goddess Mahalakshmi, and all other gods and goddesses so that their blessings bring happiness, prosperity, and success in your life.

Aarti of Sri Lakshmi

Om Jai Lakshmi Mata, (Maya) Jai Lakshmi Mata. I serve you daily, Lord Vishnu, the creator. ॐ ॥Uma, Rama, Brahmani, you are the mother of the world. The sun and moon meditate, and the sage Nārada sings. ॐ ॥Durgarup Niranjani, the giver of happiness and wealth. Whoever meditates on You, attains riches, perfection and wealth. ॐ ॥You are the inhabitant of the underworld, you are the giver of good fortune. O illuminator of the power of action, you are the greatest savior of all. ॐ ॥The house where you live, there all virtue comes. All is possible, the mind does not panic. ॐ ॥Without you, there would be no sacrifice, no clothing. The glory of food and drink comes from you. ॐ ॥The temple of good qualities is beautiful, going to the milky way. Ratna Chaturdash Tum Bin Koi Nahin Paata ॥ ॐ ॥Aarti of Mahalakshmi (Ji), which any male sings. Chest joy is contained, sin is removed. ॐ ॥

Mantra Pushpanjali –

Take lotus flowers etc. in both the hands and join the hands and recite the following mantras-

Dedicate the flowers held in your hand to Lord Ganesha and Mother Mahalakshmi.

After this, do Pradakshina with devotion and prostrate yourself. Again, with folded hands, humbly ask forgiveness from the gods and goddesses, so that you may receive their blessings and forgiveness for any mistake committed during the worship.

Apology –

“O dear monkey bestower of boons to all the gods I offer my obeisances to you
May the destination of those who surrender to You be attained by worshiping You.
I don’t know how to invoke, I don’t know how to expel.
I do not know how to worship you, O Supreme Lord, forgive me.
Without mantras, without action, without devotion, O Goddess of the gods.
Whatever I have worshipped, O goddess, may it be fulfilled for me.

You are the mother, You are the father,
You are the friend, You are the friend.
You are the knowledge, the wealth, and
everything I have, O Lord of the gods.

I am a sinner, I am a sinner, I am a sinner, I am a sinner, I am a sinner.
O Supreme Lords, please save me and take away all my sins.
I commit thousands of crimes every day.
O Supreme Lord, please consider me Your servant and forgive me.

She is situated in the waters of the lake, holding a lotus in her hand, and is adorned with white waves, fragrant flowers and garlands.
O goddess, dearest to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, please be pleased with me and enrich the three worlds.

Again, bow with reverence, say ‘Om Anena Yathashaktiarchanena Srimahalakshmih Prasidatu’ and offer water. After that, bow respectfully to the teachers and elders, then distribute Charanamrit and Prasad, so that the grace of Goddess Mahalakshmi will shower on all the devotees.

Immersion –

At the end of the puja, with whole rice grains in your hand, respectfully immerse all the invoked, established and worshipped deities, except the idols of new Ganesha and Mahalaxmi. While offering rice grains, chant the following mantra and bid farewell to the deities in a proper manner, so that the puja is complete.
