A nice goal in the back heel against Deportivo is the best of his five strikes against the now second-ranked team.

Two of Benzema’s five goals against Valladolid were a memorable 4-1 victory in 2019, as he wore the captain’s armband and coached his side to a comeback victory.

His last league goal against Osasuna came on the last day of the 2012/13 season, but his best was a superb volley from Marco van Basten the previous season.

Real Madrid’s top scorer in the 19/20 season, Benzema’s goal against local rivals Atletico Madrid in February saw Los Blancos claim a La Liga title.

The 33-year-old hasn’t scored in any of his last five games against Getafe, but this sterile run comes after scoring four of three, including the above brace in 2015.

A hat-trick in 2010/11 got him off to a good start against Levante before a somewhat dry spell. But four in their last four games, including the header above, now mean they’re one of Benz’s favorite opponents.

A man for the big occasion, Benzema’s record against Sevilla (one of the best teams in La Liga) is incredibly impressive, with nine goals and ten assists in 24 games.

Nine goals against Barcelona isn’t too bad, eh? Benzema grabbed a brace in 2014 when he was beaten 4-3 in a classic at the Bernabeu and, most often, played at El Clasico.

Ten goals in 12 games against Malaga mean Benzema is consistently a thorn in their side, with his last effort in 2017 before their relegation.

Five goals in their last four appearances against Valencia have really pushed them to the top of this list, with a super double post lockdown in 2020 starting the charge towards the title for Real Madrid.

Benzema’s common favorite opponent in terms of goals scored, Benz managed a hat-trick against Athletic Club in 2019. He added two more to his total as recently as December 2020.

13 goals in 13 games, Benzema has scored in ten of Real Madrid’s last 11 games against Granada. He clinched a brace in their 9-1 victory in April 2015 in a stellar performance.
