Taraweeh in Masjid-i-Haram and Masjid e Nabvi will be held without public assistance and has been reduced to 10 Rakkats.
Imam-i-Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais announced on Tuesday the rules for celebrating Taraweeh’s prayers at Masjid-i-Haram.
The rules were also shared on Facebook, according to which Taraweeh will be shortened and carried out without public assistance.
Aitikaf, an Islamic practice of locking oneself in the mosque to pray, has been canceled in the Masjid e Haram and Masjid e Nabvi holy mosques.
Meanwhile, the Umrah pilgrimage will remain suspended until further notice.
