Sergio Ramos has yet to agree to a new deal with Real Madrid, with the club reluctant to come up with such a lucrative deal given the strain on their finances due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ramos’ current deal is worth around € 13million a year (£ 11.5million), and if a deal cannot be reached, Real Madrid could be forced to seek a replacement for their captain.
Bayern Munich’s David Alaba has been offered as a potential Ramos replacement, with the Austrian himself free to speak to other clubs due to being in the final six months of his contract at the Allianz Arena.
Los Blancos are said to have made a concrete offer for the 28-year-old and hope to secure a pre-contract deal this month regardless of Ramos’ situation.
