Scott McTominay reveals what Manchester United captain means to him


Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has admitted that being named captain against Watford in the FA Cup third round was a “surreal moment”.

McTominay’s salutary words to his manager were quickly repaid when Solskjaer suggested he was made captain because he always steps in when needed and fundamentally understands what it takes to represent and lead Manchester United.
