After the inauguration of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, most of the countries were left in awe of the new T20 event. IPL was a huge success across the world and many countries started thinking about having their own T20 league. However, it took more than six years for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to actually start the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
After the completion of the first successful season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2016, the fans and the Cricket Board knew that the tournament is going to bring a lot of success both financially and commercially.
Since 2016, the fans back home in Pakistan for the new year to get started soon because they are waiting for the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to get started as well. Every New Year brings a brand new season of the PSL because the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host the PSL tournament every year in February and March.
We’re into January 2020 and the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is only a month away. With every new PSL season, the fans of course always want to know everything about their favorite teams. And today, we’re here with the complete Schedule of the fan-favorite team Peshawar Zalmi.
Peshawar Zalmi Complete Schedule PSL 2020:
The Peshawar Zalmi franchise is one of the most successful teams in the competition. They have won the title in the 2nd edition of the PSL against Quetta Gladiators in 2017 whilst they have played in all the finals that followed after that particular season. So it means that the Zalmis are a top team and we must know about their PSL schedule in 2020.
The Yellow Army of Darren Sammy is going to take on Karachi Kings in their first match on the 21st of February at the National Stadium Karachi. The next day, on the 22nd of February they’re going to take on the defending champions Quetta Gladiators on the same ground.
After resting for a few days, the men in yellow would face the Sultans of Multan at their home ground in Multan on the 26th of February. On the 28th of February, Lahore Qalandars will challenge Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
On the 29th of February, which comes in every four years, the Peshawar Zalmi would take on Islamabad United on the 29th of February at the home ground of Islamabad in Pindi. Zalmis are going to play their next three matches again at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium against Karachi on the 2nd of March, against Gladiators on the 5th, and against Islamabad United on the 7th of March.
In their last two pool matches, Zalmis are going to take on the Lahore Qalandars at the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore on the 10th of March and they would compete against the Multan Sultans on the 13th of March at the National Stadium of Karachi.
