Today, we’re going to take a look at some of the most promising young all-rounders of Pakistan who can make it big in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition 5.
- Amad Butt
Amad Butt is a pace-bowling all-rounder from the Sambrial District of Sialkot. He has played for Pakistan U-19 in the ICC U-19 World Cup in 2016. He was involved in a match-winning partnership with Zafar Gohar in the semi-final of that World Cup against England.
The all-rounder has been scoring runs and taking wickets in the domestic cricket and he has also played for Islamabad United in the previous few seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Amad is going to represent Islamabad United once again in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL). He’s a genuine all-rounder in making and we all can’t wait to see him in action for the Red Hot Army of Islamabad United.
- Zafar Gohar
Another promising all-rounder Zafar Gohar is a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm spinner. The youngster has played for Pakistan U-19 team in two ICC U-19 World Cups and he has also represented Pakistan in ODIs.
Zafar had a fantastic first-class season for Central Punjab as he played a key role in taking his team to title victory in the most prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2019. Zafar was also amongst the highest wicket-takers in the tournament.
Gohar played an innings of 99 in the final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and he also scored his maiden first-class century in the recently concluded Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
The all-rounder certainly has a bright future ahead of him and we are expecting him to perform to the best of his abilities for Islamabad United in the upcoming PSL 2020.
- Bilawal Bhatti
All right, some people would argue about the name of Bilawal Bhatti in this list but we believe that the young pace-bowling all-rounder from Sialkot can certainly turn up the magic in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
Bhatti made his debut for Pakistan a couple of years ago in 2013 and delivered a match-winning performance on his debut against South Africa.
It was an all-rounder performance where he took 3-37 and also rescued Pakistan’s innings along with Anwar Ali with a handy knock of 39.
He has played for Karachi Kings in the previous editions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) until he was out with an injury. He has also represented Pakistan in Test matches and we are looking forward to seeing Bilawal Bhatti back in action once again.
The promising all-rounder has been picked by the Multan Sultans and he will play alongside Shahid Afridi, Imran Tahir and Mohammad Irfan.
- Adil Amin
Adil Amin is a relatively unknown name but the young all-rounder has been making lots of runs in domestic cricket along with some handy performances with the bowl as well. He had been part of the Peshawar Panthers side that won the National T20 Cup twice.
Adil Amin is a right-handed batsman and he also bowls off-spin. He has been picked by the Peshawar Zalmi for the forthcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Adil also enjoyed a wonderful season for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy where he also scored a century and took a five-wicket haul in one of the encounters.
Adil is a decent all-rounder in the making and he can certainly showcase his talent in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
There are a few other all-rounders as well taking part in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) like Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan.
However, all of these three have been playing for quite some time and they have also represented the national team more than the players mentioned above.
