How to Watch TV, Live Stream, Team News and Predictions
Manchester City’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday has long been seen as a key event in the Premier League title race, but few would have predicted that it could potentially end the champions’ attempt to retain their crown.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are in the midst of a scorching form run at Anfield. The Reds have failed to score in their last three home outings – a barren streak they haven’t seen since 1984 – with Burnley and Brighton coming out victorious from their recent visits to Merseyside.
Meanwhile, City look like an unstoppable force in this year’s title race. Oddly, only Cheltenham Town have beaten Pep Guardiola’s side in their last eight games in all competitions, and Sunday’s clash allows City to extend their lead over last year’s champions to ten points.
It looks like a win or a failure for Liverpool. Here is 90 minsof Overview of this monumental shock.

Alisson returned to training this week after missing the loss at Brighton on Tuesday due to illness, and the Brazilian is expected to start in Liverpool’s goal in place of Caoimhin Kelleher.
Sadio Mane and Fabinho were also absent from Wednesday’s loss to the Seagulls, and they will both undergo late fitness tests in a bid to be named to the Team of the Day.
Klopp has already confirmed that Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak are unlikely to be able to afford their Liverpool debut this weekend, meaning Jordan Henderson is likely to find himself in the middle of defense again.
The visitors have no new injury worries heading into the tip at Anfield, although they remain without injured trio Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Nathan Ake.

A few weeks ago you would have laughed at the suggestion that Liverpool could suffer back-to-back home defeats at the hands of Burnley and Brighton.
For all of their defensive woes, it is their woes at the top of the pitch that affect Liverpool’s title defense the most, with their generally reliable front three not shooting all cylinders.
City haven’t had such a problem and they seem to be back to their best. Expect Guardiola’s juggernaut to stack even more misery on Klopp’s struggling Reds.
Prediction: Liverpool 1-2 Manchester City
