Eden Hazard trolled by Burger King after his latest injury setback

Eden Hazard’s misfortune at Real Madrid continues with the Belgian forced to miss training this week, according to reports in Spain.

Since joining Los Blancos for more than £ 100million in 2019, the Belgian has managed just 35 appearances in all competitions. His form has also been disappointing, with Real Madrid’s substantial investment earning just four goals and seven assists so far.

Hazard is infamous at the overweight club and has since suffered from a litany of fitness issues that have limited his involvement. Recently, he appeared to be back to full health, starting each of his side’s last three La Liga games.

However, according to Marca, he was forced to take time off from training on Tuesday after suffering some “discomfort”. Although the injury has yet to be confirmed by the club, Hazard looks likely to miss the game with Huesca on Saturday. If he is absent, it will be the 12th meeting of the league, he is not available for this season already.

To add insult to injury – literally in this case – Burger King then took it upon themselves to laugh at Hazard’s latest setback. Responding to El Chiringuito’s tweet, which asked him why he wasn’t training with the team, the fast food restaurant suggested the striker was taking some time to take advantage of their latest two-for-one deal …

Burger King got the reaction it was looking for, with the tweet gaining north of 40,000 likes on Tuesday night.

The cheeky publicity stunt of the BK administrator has sparked anger among some of the injured star’s super-fans.

One user even went so far as to vow to boycott Burger King for the rest of his life. This is what a true supporter looks like.
