After so many ifs and buts, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has finally decided to send their team to Pakistan for a complete tour including Test matches, on-off ODI and three T20Is.
The tour is going to take place in three phases with the first phase starting with three T20Is matches taking place at the iconic Gaddafi Cricket Stadium Lahore.
The 1st T20I will be played on the 24th of January and the 2nd T20I on the 25th of January. The action moves to the last T20I that would be played on the 27th of January.
The Bangladesh Cricket Team will return back to Bangladesh after playing these three T20Is and the fans will have to wait for some time before they join the men in green for the 1st Test match of the series in the month of February.
The 1st Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start on the 7th of February at the beautiful stadium of Rawalpindi. After completing the 1st Test match, the Bangladesh Cricket team will head back towards their home country and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition 5 is going to start from the 20th of February.
After the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition 5, the Bangladesh Cricket Team will come back again to complete the third phase of the series.
The one-off ODI will be played at the National Stadium Karachi on the 3rd of April whilst the 2nd Test match of the series will also take place at the National Stadium Karachi on the 5th of April.
The decision was taken after the authorities from both the sides met in a long meeting and the window was created for the series to take place in between without any troubles of scheduling it.
The scheduling of the series in three phases was also suggested by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board agreed to it.
So finally the news is now confirmed and the Bangladesh Cricket Team is set to become the second team after Sri Lanka to come to Pakistan for a complete tour.
