Saudi Arabia proclaimed 15 new cases of coronavirus on Monday as the total number of infected increased to 133. So far, six people have recovered from the virus, the others alone. The new cases included two women in the eastern province: one from Saudi Arabia and one from Spain, both in quarantine at the Qatif and Dhahran health centers, respectively.
Two Moroccan men are also now isolated in a health center in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. In Jeddah, 5 cases have been reported with British, French, Swiss, Jordanian and Afghan citizens. They are all quarantined in health centers in the Red Sea city. Two Turkish and Egyptian citizens have also tested positive for the virus in Mecca. On Sunday, the Kingdom temporarily suspended government work and ordered public sector workers to remain in their homes for 16 days. Shopping malls and restaurants, as well as shops, cafes, parks and gardens have also been closed.
